Weighty Wednesdays

I actually had a pretty mediocre weak when it comes to my goals vs what actually happened. I ate better this week than last week. My tracking still stinks. I’m having the same problem I had last time I tried weight watchers and that is that it’s time consuming to figure out the points I’m eating and then track them all day long. I’m sure that with time this won’t feel like such a chore but to be honest, I still guesstimate points and then forget to actually write them down.

That said, I must’ve done a better job with *something* as my scale told me that I now weigh 203.4lbs! That’s 2.8lbs lost this week bringing my total for the last three weeks to 4.6lbs lost. *sigh* I have to admit that while I’m thrilled I lost this week, I haven’t even managed to loose 5lbs in 3wks. That IS somewhat of a downer. Ah well. Pressing on!

    That puts you right about perfect for prolonged weight loss my friend. No need to be down about it. Anything more than 2pounds a week is considered to be a health risk so an average of 1.5 is just about perfect. It shows sustainable weight loss and keep in mind that it would put you right around goal in approximately a year. Don’t be discouraged. I find that even without exact tracking being mindful of what I eat can help with maintenance and loss. Keep on keeping on and you will do just fine. 1.5/week is still 78 in a year. Right on target. Plus in another couple of weeks you will be dropping down into the 100′s so way to go.

    Also remember that you did gluten this week and even WITH that you lost weight. I’d say its working. ;)
